US Youth Soccer Announces Partnership with Soccer Profile
FRISCO, Texas (June 15, 2022) — US Youth Soccer (USYS) is pleased to announce it has a three-year agreement with Soccer Profile to provide individual player development plans, in the form of player, team, and club, for its members.
Soccer Profile is a series of age-specific assessments consisting of multiple levels of difficulty, which combined with the power of the internet, provides players and coaches of all ages, genders, and ability an affordable opportunity to measure and support the long-term development of a player’s technical and physical ability.
Soccer Profile will provide all members of the USYS National League’s Elite 64 program with a complimentary one-year subscription to their platform, which will provide coaches with the tools and resources to help enhance their players’ development.
In addition, Soccer Profile will host a series of free coach educational webinars throughout the year. These webinars will provide direct contact with high-level, well-respected professionals from around the world, providing attendees with a great insight into the game.
“Given that technology continues to play a huge supporting role in helping players reach their potential, we at US Youth Soccer and the National League are excited to offer every player participating in Elite 64 a free subscription to Soccer Profile,” said Simon Collins, USYS National League Commissioner. “Soccer Profile is designed, owned, and managed by soccer professionals with an unrivaled experience in all levels of the game. We are looking forward to seeing the club coaches introduce Soccer Profile as a tool to help players with their individual development plans. We are also thrilled that Soccer Profile will be utilizing their network of industry professionals to offer multiple opportunities for players and coaches to meet and talk with current and past Premier League and international managers — in addition to providing our players with insight into how professional clubs use data to recruit players for their programs.”
Soccer Profile has a worldwide audience featuring subscribers in six continents, from grassroots to professional academies, and has become a leading provider since its launch in 2018 – with the platform having been endorsed by multiple prominent figures in the sport, such as Leicester City manager Brendan Rogers, Belgium Men’s National Team manager Roberto Martinez, and Aston Villa’s Head of Coach Development Ryan Maye.
“The team at Soccer Profile are really excited to be supporting US Youth Soccer in raising the standards of player and coach development in the United States of America,” said Stuart Monk, Soccer Profile’s Managing Director.
